North Kerry Heritage Trails - Ireland Guided Walks

Scotia Ireland Guided Walks in North Kerry

We are delighted to partner with North Kerry Heritage Trails. Seán Quinlan P.C, chairman of the Rattoo Heritage Society and author of the Great Book of Kerry launched the new tourism initiative in 2012.

North Kerry is a relatively unexplored region and the landscape is richly patterned with ancient monuments which include stone circles, ring forts, ogham stones, standing stones, stone crosses and holy wells, along with the ruins of early Churches, and Ecclesiastical sites to include Abbeys, Cathedrals and Monasteries, with numerous Castles, a Tower House, Great Houses, and  many more historic monuments. All of these sites are part of our rich heritage with most town lands containing numerous monuments.

North Kerry Heritage Trails offer fully guided that enable you to discover many hidden gems and immerse yourself in Ireland's history, heritage and culture. During our North Kerry tour we invite Seán Quinlan, historian and author to join us on a walk and engage in his fascinating stories and his wealth of knowledge in the history of the Kingdom of Kerry.
